Listening music and iLike

This week I just found iLike page and services, the basic idea behind iLike is just a web site that is feedback by iTunes, Windows media player or the user itself with the information about songs, artists and albums that he/she likes listening, a pretty simple idea, but it's too interesting.

Having all (or almost all) the information about the music you like, iLike will show you Related music you may want and free downlodable MP3 from new artists (I can't use this functionality :-S ).

Additionally you have access to the latest activity of your favorite artists (if they are registered in iLike and are updating their information), look for friends, send messages, look for related artists, publish a profile and pictures, etc.

It's a good application and it's database is huge but not complete, for example, OST information or indie bands are not registered there (like CatPeople)

Additionally you can publish the iLike widget whitin your Hi5, Facebook, MySpace, etc. profile, so that all your current friends from any social network will know what are your music tastes.

This application is interesting, I'll be trying to get in touch with people with similar music taste, so that I'll get more albums in my Buy List :-P
